Ambition

The objective of the We Live Here campaign is to make residents proud of their city by telling their stories.

Campaigns

Hilversum Marketing has developed the We Live Here campaign, an extension of the central campaign “Live Hilversum”. We Live Here gives the residents of Hilversum a face and thus contributes to a positive image of the city. The “ministories” can be found on the livehilversum.nl website, in the form of images and sometimes podcasts. The shared personal stories were broadcasted through various channels. Think of interviews with locals such as: Ronald Schilperoort who makes music for TV series and films, student and tennis player Tara van den Berg, Emmanuel Emma who works at Mout and went to the US on a scholarship for sports and Marion van Vught who owns the Biologische Slagerij.

The stories of the residents of Hilversum tie in with the pillars of Hilversum: media, architecture, entrepreneurship, nature, going out and shopping. We designed the brand identity of the We Live Here campaign. We have deployed various resources, such as A0 road signs, A2 posters throughout the city, animations on the city screens and all Live Hilversum channels (website, social media). In 2020 we sought a collaboration with the “75 years of Freedom” campaign and told the stories of three residents within this theme.
