Ambition
Every year at the end of December, the Top2000 of the NPO takes place at the Media Park in Hilversum. With the Music festival Live2000, Hilversum Marketing, together with Poppodium De Vorstin, wants to entice residents and visitors of Hilversum and the region to visit the city during the Holiday season. The objective of the festival is to increase the connection of residents, visitors and entrepreneurs by making music together.

Campaign

At the end of 2019, the third edition of the Live2000 music festival took place, which emphasized the association with the city of Hilversum even more. Live2000 is an initiative of Hilversum Marketing and De Vorstin. During the festival, music that has a connection to the TOP 2000 was played. Various family activities and quizzes took place. In addition, a clear link has been made with the city and the event by placing Live2000 and Live Hilversum flags in the city, by using information towers, posters and flyers. In 2019, 36 entrepreneurs (catering and retailers) were involved in the festival, including Hotel Gooiland, HEMA, Wisseloord, Le Journal, De Oogkas and Echte Liefde. They all organized 2000 cents actions for which they also did their own promotion. This strengthened and increased the exposure and connection within the city. The means of communication used are the website Hilversumlive2000.nl, a campaign page on livehilversum.nl, social media, outdoor: screens and A0 signs, brochures, A2 posters, flags, information towers and PR. Live2000 attracted around 15000 visitors in 2019.
